OUR STORY
LMile was born from years of commuting on Melbourne's trains. As a software engineer riding my folding bike through the CBD every day, I understood what urban cyclists actually need — reliability, quality, and someone who speaks your language.
Melbourne showroom with hands-on test rides and expert fitting.
Every bike inspected and tuned in Melbourne. 5-year frame & fork warranty, real local after-sales.
Supporting both English and Chinese-speaking cycling communities.
A FIELD JOURNAL
Commute, lunch, weekend, getaway — the same folding bike, fitting in wherever you go.
FIELD NOTES
Small, practical notes from three Melbourne-style commutes.
I mostly use it for the station-to-office bit. The Lumio folds small enough to sit beside my desk, and it feels steadier than the cheap folder I had before. Carrying it upstairs is still a little awkward, but the actual ride is calm.
I wanted one bike for train days and easy weekend paths. The Gravon is a little more bike than I first planned to buy, but the gears make hills and rougher paths feel less like a chore. I am still getting quicker at the fold.
I tried a few compact folders and kept coming back to the Aerra because it felt light without feeling fragile. On the longer ride home, the front end takes some buzz out of rough paths. The stock saddle is firm; I would swap it for daily riding.
