What is the best folding bike for Melbourne commuting?

For most first-time commuters, Lumio is the easiest starting point. Aerra is the best all-rounder if you want a lighter long-term bike, while Gravon suits rougher roads and longer weekend rides.

Can I take a folding bike on Melbourne trains?

Yes. Folded bikes are treated as luggage on Metro Trains, V/Line and most interstate services. A folded LMile bike occupies roughly the footprint of a large carry-on suitcase.
