Which model should I start with? +
If you have never owned a folding bike, start with Lumio. It is the lightest "first bike" in its price range and the seven colourways mean you can pick one you actually want to look at. Aerra makes sense when you already know folders and want a long-term project you can upgrade. Gravon is for riders who want both commute and weekend trails.
How long does it take to fold? +
Once you have practised three or four times, you can fold or unfold any of our bikes inside ten seconds. The first time you try it will take closer to thirty. We teach you the routine during the test ride.
Can I take it on Melbourne trains? +
Yes. Folded bikes are treated as luggage on Metro Trains, V/Line, and most interstate services. Folded our bikes occupy roughly the same footprint as a large carry-on suitcase.
Do you ship outside Melbourne? +
Yes — anywhere in Australia. Shipping is by courier in the original ACEOFFIX box. For interstate buyers we strongly recommend a video call walk-through of the folding mechanism before delivery, included for free.
What is covered under warranty? +
Five years on frame and fork. Twelve months on drivetrain, folding mechanism, and stem assembly. Consumables (tyres, brake pads, cables, grips, saddle) are not covered. All purchases come with the non-excludable consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
Can I modify or upgrade the bike? +
Especially on the Aerra, yes. The handlebar clamp is standard 31.8 mm, the seatpost is a common size, and drivetrain parts are interchangeable. We carry common upgrade parts in Melbourne and can quote on bigger projects.
How much does a service cost? +
A standard tune (brake adjust, gear index, bolt check, drivetrain clean and lube) is around $80. Full strip-down service is around $250. Warranty work on covered components is free.
Do you accept trade-ins? +
For now, no — we are a young business and want every bike out the door to be perfect. We can recommend secondhand channels if you want to move on a different folder.
